The jobs report for June was released today. Below are statistics from the report that I regularly track here at People’s Policy Project.
The overall employment rate ticked down from 47.6 percent to 47.5 percent, with the overall decline equally felt among those in part-time and full-time employment.
A little over 1.7 million workers went from employed to unemployed last month. Over the last 12 months, the same number is 18.8 million workers, which is equal to 12 percent of the workforce.
